My family (my mum, dad, sister and sister's boyfriend) arrived in Australia on the 20th of December 2005 to spend the Christmas holiday with us and left nearly three weeks later. Together, during that time, we explored Brisbane, the Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island (the biggest sand island in the world), Moreton Island and the Gold Coast. We all agree it was one of the best holidays of our lifetime. What made it really special was the stunning beauty of the scenery, the endless fun, the harmony reigning amongst us and, of course, the beautiful Australian climate. A very unusual but special Christmas (Santa here rides a surf instead of a sleigh!) which, I am sure, no one of us will ever forget...
